About The 24th District

CA24CDmapThe 24th Congressional District of California encompasses most of Ventura and Santa Barbara counties (shown in green on the map). With a diverse and growing population, the district enjoys a robust and varied economy including agriculture, biotechnology, universities, military bases, tourism, banking, and more.

From the Southern cities of Simi Valley, Moorpark, and Thousand Oaks to the Northern mountains and valleys of Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez, the district is geographically as diverse as the population. Historically viewed as a “Republican stronghold,” the 24th District has changed dramatically over the past few years to include more Democrats and Independents.

Unfortunately, our representative in Congress has not changed to reflect the varied voices of the constituents. More and more, the residents of the 24th District are calling for a representative who will listen to all of the people and more accurately reflect their viewpoints in Washington, D.C.

I want to be your representative in Washington. Just like you, I’m concerned about the tone of politics in our country. The extreme yelling and posturing on both sides of the aisle seem to be drowning out the voices of average Americans like you and me. We know that we are not just Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. We are Americans. We’re proud of our country and we want the best for our future.

Won’t you join me to bring respect back to government? Regardless of your political party, you deserve a representative who will listen to you, understand your needs, and work for you, your family, and your community.

We don’t need to wait until the next election to make a difference. Please join me today. We can do it together.
